Remote Control PC

Let's suppose you are a person who uses two computers, one at home and the other one at work. It may be necessary to access the work computer when you are at home and vice-versa, for exchanging files or for controlling certain applications. The Windows operating system has a feature for remote desktop connectivity, but, unfortunately, the features included are a bit disappointing. The only wise thing to do is to turn to 3rd party applications for remotely connecting to another computer. One such program is Remote Control PC. The name of the application clearly states its functionality, which is the ability to connect to another computer, using a network or Internet connection and controlling it as if you were standing in front of that computer.

Remote Control PC is a Windows application and runs best on Windows 7, but can also work on older versions of this Microsoft operating system, like XP or 2000. The installation process doesn't need special skills or experience to get it completed. Following the on-screen instructions is enough to get the program installed. During the installation process, Remote Control PC asks the user if he wants to install the admin or the host module, or both. If one wishes to connect both ways, he should install both modules.

After completing the setup process, the host module will be automatically launched and one can configure it to run manually or automatically, at system startup. The settings of the host module are already configured and should only be changed by advanced users. Beginners shouldn't worry, as all the settings are optimized for a normal program functionality.

After making sure that the host module is up and running, one can launch the admin module. Doing so will display an attractive interface that allows connecting to the host computer by manually typing its IP address or automatically, by entering the email address and the password which was used during the host module setup.

After connecting to the host, the user can perform several actions as if he was standing in front of the host computer. As such, he can control the desktop and all the applications installed, he can view the file system, together with all the files and folders and he can even shut down or restart the host computer.

The admin module allows connecting to more host computers at once and performing different actions on each of them. Remote Control PC includes a feature for creating a customized host application that can be generated online. This application will allow connecting to the host computer only while it's running in the foreground.
